Artificial Intelligence Researcher

BigSpring’s AI engine deploys targeted campaigns with continuous practice and scoring. Users build portable portfolios to showcase work readiness (not test scores). BigSpring’s product ecosystem centers around a progressive web application serving hundreds of thousands of users internationally within network and hardware-constrained environments. Additionally, we have several web applications and tools supporting content management, client success, analytics, reporting, and more. Our Engineers need to be self-driven and product-minded, applying their multifaceted skill set across front-end, back-end, data, and infrastructure. This role is responsible for:

  • Working with Project Manager (PM) to understand our AI roadmap.
  • Working with a team on solution architecture.
  • Developing fine-tuned LLMs for the BigSpring application.
  • Ensuring the scalability and accuracy of the models.
  • Establishing ML Ops practices from staging to production.
  • Performing model maintenance and monitoring.

Job Requirements:   Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job or related position.  Must have 1 year of experience in:

  • Hands-on programming with Python, Java, and/or C++
  • Common machine learning and deep learning tools & libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, Pandas, etc.
  • Fine-tuning a foundational large language model (LLM) such as BERT and/or GPT
  • Public and private cloud hosting services such as AWS and/or GCP
  • Prompt engineering in zero-shot, one-shot, multi-shot techniques with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • ChatBot and conversational platforms using Generative AI.

HOURS:   Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30pm.

SALARY
:        $190,000 - $200,000 per year
